What we expect
- 3+ years of experience in risk management at banks or financial institutions;
- Knowledge of banking legislation, NBU regulations (for banks), and regulatory requirements for MFIs;
- Experience implementing a risk management system (strategy, risk appetite, policies);
- Hands-on experience managing credit, operational, and liquidity risk;
- Skills in monitoring limits and risk appetite indicators;
- Experience preparing internal regulatory documents;
- Analytical thinking and the ability to report to management;
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key tasks
- Organizing and developing the risk management system in line with NBU requirements, including developing and updating internal regulatory documents;
- Monitoring the company’s compliance with its risk management strategy, risk appetite statement, and risk management policies (credit, operational, liquidity);
- Organizing risk identification, assessment, monitoring, control, and mitigation processes, with regular reporting to management;
- Monitoring and preventing breaches of risk appetite indicators and risk limits, and controlling how close indicators are to threshold values;
- Implementing a comprehensive corporate governance system for the non-bank financial group (where the company acts as the responsible entity) and preparing internal regulatory documents (VND);
- Fulfilling other NBU regulatory requirements on risk management within the company/financial group;
- Organizing the financial group’s risk management system, coordinating the work of risk officers across group companies, and monitoring adherence to unified methodological approaches.
