SelfieCredit is a financial company with foreign capital that began operating in 2021 and is part of the international Aventus Group holding. We operate according to European standards, creating convenient and transparent financial services.
We’re looking for a candidate with the following profile:
- Higher legal education;
- 2+ years of experience at financial companies or banks;
- Solid knowledge of legislation on consumer lending, financial services, and consumer protection;
- Ability to develop/approve new methodologies and standards;
- Experience working with documentation: preparing and analyzing requests, responses, explanations, forms, questionnaires, regulations, instructions, etc.;
- A systematic approach to work, discipline, and strict control over deadlines for assigned tasks;
- A high level of legal literacy.
Your typical workday involves handling a variety of legal tasks that arise in the operations of a financial company, including:
- Drafting and conducting legal reviews of orders, regulations, policies, instructions, rules, and other internal regulatory documents of the financial company in accordance with current legislation and NBU regulations;
- Preparing and submitting information, reports, and responses to requests from the NBU and other government, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies;
- Developing, approving, and participating in the rollout of credit products, and ensuring that credit products and the company’s operations comply with all NBU regulatory requirements;
- Providing legal support for processes related to settling overdue debt;
- Preparing responses to inquiries from citizens, including service members and their representatives, attorney requests, and parliamentary inquiries, etc.;
- Preparing and registering charter and licensing documents, preparing corporate governance documents for the Company, and registering changes to legal entity records, etc.;
- Contract work (reviewing all types of contracts and agreements);
- Providing legal support for the financial company’s operations;
- Keeping current Ukrainian legislation up to date and organized.
